Case 1:
Brother Murtuz Indikar is 17yrs old young boy is suffering from both kidney failures! Doctors at Jehangir Hospital have suggested for kidney transplant and they are checking his parents kidneys for match.Currently brother murtuz is undergoing thru weekly dialysis and it costs around 2000/- and needs to continue till kidney transplants.
Right from his birth he was was under some medical problem or other. He was frequently falling sick. When he was in the 6th standard a thorough investigation was carried out and it was diagnosed that he was passing a lot of protein in his urine. The heavy medicines that were prescribed had irreversible effect on his hearing ability too. Last month it was diagnosed that both his Kidneys have failed. Doctors from Jehangir hospital have asked for a kidney transplant on an immediate basis. Till the time the transplant does not happen the patient has to undergo weekly dialysis. 5 dialysis completed so far. Father works as a security guard at a Co-operative bank and his entire salary is utilized in his son's medical expenses. Mother makes tiffin for student community living in the area.
